T-Shirt Quilt

I cleaned out my closed about a month ago and I had a lot of t-shirts that were just sitting there. I was just going to take them to DI but then I thought I don't want to get ride of those memories. So I thought of what I could do and I had seen this before so I decided to make my own and here it is. It is about 7 ft by 7 ft.

This is Mike holding it up so you can tell that it is big.

sooo cute, Melinda!! Have you been sewing a lot? I haven't at all, but you've inspired me to get back at it!

That is a great idea. I remember when Mandi made hers. My dad kept contributing his shirts to her. Yours looks wonderful. It will be fun to share all those memories with others when they see it.

You're so domestic! Ben's sister made him one of those quilts with all his old t-shirts from high school for christmas one year and he loves it! It's a great idea to hang on to all those old memories. Yours looks good!

That is awesome!!! I really like that. it's a good way to keep the memories but not have tshirts sitting around everywhere.

That is so cute melinda! I'm so sad because we just gave away so many of our t-shirts to D.I. and now I wish I would have done this!

Katie,
I just went to http://www.scrapblog.com/builder/?isLoged=false this web page and made it. Then I had to take it into photo shop and crop it to the size to fit into the header. Hope this helps.
